After learning of Han's death, the crew sets out to find the man who killed one of their own, before he finds them first.
Deckard breaks into Hobbs' DSS office to investigate Toretto's crew. He and Hobbs fight and Hobbs is sent to the hospital but Shaw escapes. A bomb explodes and destroys Toretto's house simultaneously as Han is killed in Tokyo. Toretto visits Hobbs in the hospital where he learns Shaw is out for revenge. Back in Los Angeles at Han's funeral Toretto sees a Maserati observing and chases after the vehicle. After a head-on collision in a game of chicken Toretto and Shaw fight but Shaw slips away when Frank Petty and his covert ops team arrive. He informs Toretto that he will assist Toretto in stopping Shaw if he helps him obtain God's Eye, a computer program that can hack into any device connected to any network. Toretto, Brian, and their crew drive cars out of an airplane and later crash a penthouse party in Abu Dhabi to get the device back and free its creator, Ramsey.

They attempt to capture Shaw but are ambushed by Jakande and his militants, who obtain God's Eye in the surprise attack. Toretto silently leaves and Brian catches up with him at a stop sign. They say farewell and drive off in separate directions.
Worldwide, Furious 7 will be released across 810 IMAX theaters – the largest worldwide rollout for any movie in IMAX's history and the largest for Universal, and is projected to have a worldwide opening of $225-$275 million.
In the United States and Canada, early box office analysts are predicting that the film could open strongly during its opening weekend; if predicted takings of between $110–$115 million occur, that would make it the highest-opening for a film released in April (currently held by Captain America: The Winter Soldier with $95 million) and the biggest among the Fast & Furious franchise (currently held by Fast & Furious 6 with $97.4 million). It opened on Friday, April 3, 2015, across 4,004 theaters, including 365 IMAX theaters, which made it Universal's widest opening release ever (breaking Despicable Me 2 's record).
It opened Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in 12 countries, earning $16.9 million (including previews from 22 countries). The film set opening-day records in Thailand (breaking The Avengers ' record), Peru, Bolivia, Trinidad and Indonesia.
